The taste is versatile and could be added any various liquids! I even use it sometimes as my cream i my coffee or mix it with water in a water bottle to help me get my daily water intake.I have been drinking this shake mix for about 10 years now, love, love, love it! I especially love to put a ripened banana in mine, delicious. I have used frozen fruits to it also. It is great with no fruit or flavor added too!The bag on the left is what I thought I was buying and received the bag on the right. Not what I thought I was buying. The original pics to the the purchase looked like the current bag I purchased (shown left).. would not purchase from this selection again very disappointed.. I did a 2 meal replacement, 90-day challenge, and I saw amazing results (I went from a size 18 to a size 14). Life happened and I'm not where I'd like to be in terms of weight. So I decided to go back to Visalus. It's been 30 out of 90 days, and I'm seeing results. =) This is a great product that tastes so good and works! It really works. The only downside is the cost is very high. I used to pay $99.95 for two packs of shake mix, all the mixings, and 2 appetite suppressants. Now it's over $100 for just the two packets. My justification for spending the money for this product is I know it works, and I'd rather spend my money on the shakes than on insulin (diabetes is prevalent on both sides of my family). I would give this product 5 stars if they lowered the price to a more reasonable level.Expensive for how fast you go through it. I liked it though.Ok, so some of the reviews are saying that it didn't work and I have to laugh because honestly, Vi shakes were probably not used as intended. I got into the Vi shakes in 2012 when my husband was deployed and I need something to get my mind off everything. Naturally, the gym and working out was my first thing. Within the first 2 weeks, I noticed I had more energy, I wasn't hungry as much as I used to be, and I was less bloated. Within 4 weeks, I was down 13 lbs and was feeling amazing. Within the 10 month time frame my husband was gone, I lost 28 lbs and gained 10 lbs muscle.Now when using Vi, you have to know how to portion control and follow a schedule for your meals. I did shake, snack, shake, snack, dinner which consisted of protein, veggie, fat (oil or avocado).The people who gave the negative reviews probably just amazon searched weight loss shakes and bought the product without doing the research that goes into losing weight. I was a "Vi promoter" and I personally am not all into the MLM scheme.. I hate salesmen and I wasn't doing it to get free shakes, I am doing it for myself, not to make money. That is why I turned to Amazon to purchase my shakes and Vi pak. Cheaper, gets to me faster, and I don't have to worry about trying to force someone to do something they don't want to.About the shipping: I ordered it and got it in 2 days, literally amazing shipping process and transaction. We've used it for years. I've used it as intended, by itself for meal replacement shakes, and it tastes very good. But what I love most about this product are all the other ways I use it.I add it to oatmeal to give it a nice flavor without all the extra sugar. The family raves and requests it!I add it to Kodiak Cakes when I make pancakes and waffles. It adds a lovely flavor and extra protein and nutrients.Post workout I add one scoop with a scoop of my regular protein powder when I know I won't have time for a true breakfast. My regular protein powder has a lot of protein, but not a lot of the other vitamins and minerals I need in a meal. So Visalus rounds it out to be a true meal replacement.Love this stuff. I know Visalus is a direct marketing company. But I love buying it off Amazon so I don't have the hassle of going through a rep or signing up and having to place so many orders in a month to keep my membership.
