I like this better for my arms and legs. It's a bit too heavy to use on my face, and the scent is strong. On arms, legs and feet, it's moisturizing and nice. Pretty package.Kudos to Mystique Earth for putting together a beautifully packaged product. The jar is so pretty and looks nice sitting out on my dresser. (All of my other cream jars are on a bathroom shelf, this one is out in the open because its just so lovely) A nice bag with a drawstring is included as well. (hemp, I think?) This is definitely worthy of gift giving.As for the cream itself...this is definitely a night cream. Its thick though easy to apply. A little goes a long way. While absorption does occur, it takes time. I apply this about an hour before bed and its not fully absorbed by the time I climb under the covers. But it is when I wake up in the morning and my skin is left soft and smooth with a reduction of fine lines.The cream is scented and it is pleasant but not detectable by the time I climb out of bed in the morning.I have dry, sensitive skin and experience no negative reactions while using thisI do like this overnight cream. It does a good job on skin and is packaged beautifully. Contains some ingredients I wasn't very familiar with prior to using the cream but am really starting to enjoy and appreciate. I believe the price is absolutely reasonable.I’m from the southern U.S., where the love for Avon products, among certain generations, is as much of a religion as anything else could be. This reminds me of about 50 of them wrapped into one absolutely stunning package!It’s truly gorgeous what they have done to make this a lovely, lovely gift. I love everything about the marketing here. The box is smart, heavy, well designed. The actual cream container shines beautifully. It opens and closes to perfection. There’s even a removable lid with a tab, to protect the cream. I don’t hate the ingredients! Even the name, logo and colors are intriguing. All on point!However…..about that fragrance. Wow! It’s not unpleasant, at all! It’s just REAL loud—sort of a highly unspecified floral that punches you hard in the nose, then says, “please excuse me”. It does simmer down to something mildly powdery and mildly pleasing, eventually. No matter how long you wait, there is NO mistaking it for anything other than something a person of an older generation would probably prefer.It is VERY creamy and smooth though- I’ll give it that. It does feel quite luxurious. This does not disappoint in its texture at all, or performance on the skin!This would be an excellent gift for an older woman you know and love. Preferably, one who appreciates the good old days, and could use a taste of the finer stuff—like those high-dollar pages in the catalog, the kind she was never willing to splurge on for herself.Aunt Mildreds everywhere are going to LOVE this!!!This comes in a presentation box and inside the box is a twist lid square jar that looks like crystal (but it's acrylic). You almost expect to find a diamond ring in it or something, but inside is a round bottom liner that contains the cream.I love the scent. It's earthy, musky and exotic. But since it is scented I cannot wear it on my face as I have very sensitive facial skin that itches with perfumed products are applied.I put it on my arms and legs at night time. The cream is thick and absorbs very quickly. Did not leave a greasy trail.There is NO way I am throwing away the jar when the cream is gone. Will keep if for trinkets. It's just too nice to throw away. The cream is on the pricey side and you are paying for the packaging, so that makes it a nice pamper-gift.This moisturizer is really beautiful in every way. It arrived packaged like a gift with the box and a little thank you card in the cream colored drawstring bag. Upon opening the box of moisturizing, I came across the most gorgeous crystal container of moisturizing cream I’ve ever seen. Pictures just don’t do it justice. The container itself is bright and glittering and it’s pretty much an art piece. This isn’t a moisturizer you’ll want to put in the cabinet. The cream itself is very thick - this feels like a dry skin cream. I have skin that is more on the dry side, and it’s super sensitive. When I put this on my face, it almost feels like it could be too much. It took several minutes to absorb, but my face felt SO soft after application. I really love everything about this cream, from the beautiful presentation to how it makes my skin feel. To me, all this shows how much the company cares about their customers. Highly recommend!I am not entirely sure what forest persimmon is compared regular persimmons, but this cream smells amazing and leaves your skin feeling extremely soft.The cream itself is very thick and a little goes a long way.Despite being very stiff and creamy, this does absorb into your skin, so it definitely feels like a face cream, not a mask.Please note, this is not just for your face, you can use it on your neck, décolletage, etc...The morning after I tried it the first time, I did notice my skin felt significantly softer.Whether this will translate into younger looking skin over time is debatable, but it definitely has a very noticeable and positive impact on the texture of your skin.I will note that the packaging on this product is a little over the top.If you are thinking of giving it as a gift or simply enjoy a nice presentation, the extra touches should please you.If, however, you prefer a less extravagant presentation with minimal materials, you might not be as impressed by the extra bag, elaborate box, and oversized plastic jar.FYI, the country of origin for this cream is India.Overall, I really like this night cream.It's thick, but does not feel heavy and absorbs well.The fragrance it has is light, but very appealing.Using it definitely makes my skin feel a lot softer.Based on my experience using it, I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a night cream.
